Multiplier Event in Brussels – EVBB (17 July 2024)
On July 17th, EVBB hosted the Innovative VET Practices Fair, featuring a diverse range of groundbreaking projects including UpSailing.
The event drew an enthusiastic crowd, with over 40 participants attending in person and an impressive 75 joining online. Among the featured projects were CollaboratiVET, EndGBV in VET, TOURing, and of course UpSailing.
EVBB Project Manager Samir Cheriaa shared exciting updates on the UpSailing project, highlighting the outcomes of the Joint Session Training Activity in Rome and the newly developed MOOCs by the consortium. He also presented the draft recommendations under PR4, gathering valuable feedback from attendees
A lively discussion followed, filled with insightful questions and a dynamic exchange of ideas.
The engagement and interest from participants underscored the importance and relevance of the showcased projects.

Project UpSailing aims to:
– introduces a holistic methodology that will bridge VET Education and the Maritime/Shipping Industry
– promotes a green certification system
– contribute to the respective policy dialogue with lessons learned and good practices that will be developed throughout the project.
