UpSailing presented during “European Maritime Day in my Country”

On June 19th UpSailing was presented by IMAT during a joint conference organised in Italy in the framework of the “European Maritime Day in my Country”, a European Commission event.

The workshop was a great opportunity to create synergies between related projects, such as the ERASMUS+ Up-Sailing and MARMED Project, highlighting the importance of strong partnerships and cooperation mechanisms to facilitate the continuous matching between skills demand and offer in the reference sector.

Project UpSailing aims to:
– introduces a holistic methodology that will bridge VET Education and the Maritime/Shipping Industry
– promotes a green certification system
– contribute to the respective policy dialogue with lessons learned and good practices that will be developed throughout the project.
